North West Cancer
Intelligence Service (NWCIS) has become a part of Public Health
England, an executive agency of the Department of Health.
The registration
team, now known as the National Cancer Registration Service (NCRS)
North West office, is one of eight regional cancer registries
offices in England. The cancer intelligence team will now be a
part of the Knowledge and Intelligence Team (KIT) North West.
We will both will
both continue to support the National Cancer Intelligence
Network Site Specific Clinical Reference Group (NCIN SSCRG) as the
lead registry for Teenage and Young Adults (TYA).
